Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Sales Operations Manager.

As part of our Global Sales Operations Team, you'll work closely with the management team in your assigned Sales Area. You'll lead and contribute to exciting projects aimed at boosting sales performance and improving cost efficiency. Using tools like Power BI and Excel, you'll develop and monitor visualizations, turning complex sales data into actionable strategies for commercial improvement.

We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in Marine Industry Sales processes but also has an analytical mindset, a structured and independent approach, and excellent interpersonal skills. If you thrive in an international environment, enjoy working with senior management, and love challenging the status quo, we'd love to hear from you

What you'll be doing:
  1. Run and lead commercial and strategic initiatives that will increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Ensure process efficiency, global standardization and implementation of best practice.
  3. Implement change initiatives, benchmark, and ensure high performance within Sales Areas.
  4. Identify and analyze business opportunities for cost saving or increased revenue generation.
  5. Manage assigned global best practice and change initiatives in Sales Support.
What we are looking for:
  1. Experience in the Marine Industry from consulting, finance, analytics, or sales operations related positions.
  2. Experience with analytical, structural, process related and commercial problem solving.
  3. Data driven and independent thinker with strong cross functional collaboration skillset.
  4. Proven communication skills and ability to implement/drive change.
  5. Exceptional skills in delivering and creating PowerPoint presentations.
  6. Ability to communicate a complex analysis in a simple way.
  7. Extensive experience working with Excel, MS Office, CRM systems and Power BI.
  8. Result oriented and ability to identify value adding improvement initiatives.
