Operations Manager Europe, Oslo-office

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieving objectives regarding Operations for the Central Region. Main objectives relate to quality, productivity and costs, SLA and KPI framework etc.
  2. Focus on correct and timely support/processing by in country operations.
  3. Supporting the implementation of the LSM Europe strategy by working with in country operations. In close collaboration with the Sr. Manager Operations Europe, Head of Operations Europe and local management.
  4. Support transitions from UW to local Ops.
  5. Performing audits/quality checks, esp open DOT tasks in UW and Ops teams.
  6. Processing exceptions and high complex tasks.
  7. Achieve ambitious SLA's/KPI's on TAT (turn around time) and accuracy.
  8. Ensure that standard operating procedures accurately reflect the activities and responsibilities.
  9. Standardize and optimize internal processes.
  10. Timely and proper reporting around BAU activities.
  11. Participate in projects and programs.
  12. Responsibilities will evolve due to changes in operating model and is not limited to the above.
  13. Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. LSM expects you to understand your responsibilities relating to all regulatory and internal requirements, and to proactively demonstrate compliance with these requirements and behaviours at all times. These requirements include Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistleblowing.
Skills and Experience
  1. Advanced verbal and written communication skills in the appropriate language (Norwegian) and the ability to interact with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  2. Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
  3. Ability to establish and maintain deadlines and service level agreements.
  4. Experience of working to varying and tight deadlines.
  5. Ability to proactively resolve issues.
