What We are Looking for

Cosentino is searching for a City Center Manager to join our team in Oslo. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Residential Interior Designer accounts, building a strong network of local partners, and overseeing the daily operations of the City Center team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales
    • Develop and build relationships with key architects and designers in the area.
    • Manage key customers in the area: planning, visits, development of the relationship, sales, etc.
    • Identify leads potential and track until the close of the trade to ensure the sale.
    • Lead and motivate the design team to grow sales and ensure brand recognition.
    • Achieve sales goals and accelerate brand recognition through effective positioning, product training, and product differentiation.
  • Business Development
    • Identify strategies, priorities, and action frameworks (commercial, promotional activity, marketing, management, reporting, etc.).
    • Coordinate and align the team in the City Center to ensure they are performing their duties.
    • Support the team in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, including tracking competitor activity.
    • Maximize the synergy between commercial and promotional opportunities.
    • Capture market trends through external events, seminars, etc.
    • Act as a brand representative in the activities of associations, universities, etc.
    • Market and co-advertise based on region for all brands with corporate coordination, including focusing promotional efforts on point of purchase displays (Vignettes and samples).
  • Community-Building and Networking Events
    • Identify activities with potential impact on sales, in alignment with the mission of Cosentino related to the City.
    • Plan events and activities with the City Center team.
    • Control budgets and P&L.
    • Analyze the ROI of each activity.
    • Ensure the execution of events in accordance with the company's policies.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in sales in the construction or technical sector, 5+ years of knowledge of the construction market, architects, and interior designers, and 3+ years of management of small teams. Proved skills in generating sales reports, expenses, visits, etc. Knowledge in sales cycle in the sector, successful management of team, marketing, customer service, business operations, knowledge of the construction sector, Salesforce, and other order management systems.

Desired

Proven knowledge of the sector, University Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Business Administration, or MBA, orientation to profitable sales generation, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to interact with all levels of the industry and the organization, ability to hold state-of-the-art events for Architects and Designers, ability to follow through and close sales, ability to read financial status, inspirational, trend setter, creative, self-driven, proactive, customer orientated, early adopter.
