Senior Operations Manager

At EIT RawMaterials, we're driving innovation in the raw materials sector to support Europe's transition to renewable energy. We're seeking a highly organized and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee our project portfolio and ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and prioritize the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
  • Resource Process Management: Efficiently allocate resources across projects and ensure processes are in place to support smooth execution and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including legal experts, and ensure clear, structured communication and effective expectation management.
  • Risk Performance Tracking: Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies, track KPIs, and provide regular, detailed reporting to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices in project and portfolio management and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and resolve any contract-related issues.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee the day-to-day management of contracts, including documentation, renewals, modifications, and terminations.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with finance teams to ensure that contract costs align with budget forecasts and manage any financial implications of contract changes.
Qualifications:
  • A solid track record of excellence in project management, including 3+ years managing a project portfolio.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Experience working with legal experts and handling project contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, JIRA) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
