Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our Subsea Alliance team in Stavanger. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency and quality in defined processes with clients and the alliance.

Your primary focus will be on visualizing value within Subsea Alliance project estimates/MLCs and overall Subsea Alliance performance. This involves coordinating and ensuring that each function/party performs their role in accordance with relevant processes.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and manage estimating and MLC functions and processes, including education and development/improvement.
  • Cordinate and ensure that each function/party performs their role in accordance with relevant processes.
  • Drive improvements within the estimating area and support ongoing digitalization and flow efficiency initiatives.
  • Establish, manage, and continuously improve a standard estimate/MLC submission package(s) to demonstrate Subsea Alliance value proposition to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage a 'rolling' Alliance Performance Package supporting Alliance Manager and Commercial Manager in stakeholder management both internally at client and to the company's industry peers and license partners.
  • Perform cost engineering tasks as required for the position.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and coordinate the MLC/estimate submission for approval as part of the Project Services team.
  • Closely collaborate and support the Risk function within the Alliance to ensure correct level of contingency is promoted within estimates and MLCs.
  • Develop close collaboration and efficient interface management routines between Subsea Alliance and relevant Estimators at client.
  • Closely support Subsea Alliance Planning function to ensure that MLC/Estimating submissions are fully inclusive of, and integrated with, project schedules.
  • Ensure consistency of approach from all partners within the Subsea Alliance estimating function.
  • Cordinate and manage internal cost and schedule reviews with assistance from Planners and Project Services Manager or Study Manager/Study Leads.
  • Manage, promote, and prepare Alliance estimate and schedule development and benchmarking package to demonstrate competitiveness and best value to all stakeholders.
  • Prepare communication packages for Steering Committee, client, and external stakeholders.
  • Delivery of commercial parts of Project MLC documentation, specifically Appendix B.
  • Prepare Alliance close-out date for client's experience database.
  • Support development of Corporate Memory (client database and tool for data capture and benchmarking).
  • Perform Cost Engineering tasks upon request.
