About the Role
">This position provides sales and technical support to Global Account Managers in the Global Projects & Accounts (GPA) team, producing proposals for fire and gas detection systems worldwide.
">The main responsibility of this role is to work on proposals for global projects linked to end-users and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies.
">In this capacity, you will actively contribute to developing and exercising processes for more effective proposal operations in the GPA team.
">You will provide extended support to sales resources working on securing new orders and offer global support to other regions when needed.
">Closely collaborate with the Director and Account Managers as well as other global bid resources.
">Key Responsibilities:
">As a Global Systems Proposal Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
">- ">
- Conducting detailed reviews of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and enquiry documentation.">
- Preparing and writing technical and commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries.">
- Creating designs and technical specifications for engineered fire and gas systems that meet customer requirements.">
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs for proposals.">
- Liaising with the sales team, commercial, and legal contracts staff throughout the proposal process to ensure coherence and risk understanding.">
- Assisting Account Managers and customers with technical queries.">
- Receiving and processing proposal requests in close cooperation with Account Managers.">
- Actively contributing to developing and exercising processes for more effective proposals.">
- Participating in clarifications towards customers with Account Managers during the bidding phase and attending Bid Clarification Meetings (BCM) as required.">
- Actively using Salesforce to maintain and update activities related to proposals.">
- Supplying documentation to customers (standard documents and order-specific documentation/declarations) for non-related projects Purchase Orders (PO).">
- Following the sales routine, participating in handover from Sales to Project upon receiving PO.">
- Providing pre-sales support to customers and sales teams.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical certification in a relevant field. Prior experience can compensate for lack of formal degree.">
- A minimum of two years' experience in similar roles.">
- Experience designing technical specifications and creating technical proposals.">
- Demonstrated experience with global EPC bidding processes is an asset.">
- Proven organizational skills with demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.">
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers worldwide.">
- A forward-thinking approach with the ability to actively seek opportunities and propose solutions.">
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.">
- A disposition to learn and an enthusiastic attitude.">
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.">
- Work prioritization and ability to use own initiative for task completion.">
- Experience with Autronica and Det-Tronics products and system integration practices or related industry.">
- Self-motivation with the ability to follow-up on issues and progress to meet leadership expectations.">
- Experience working cooperatively and respectfully on multicultural/cross-functional teams.">
- Ability to travel, including on short notice (although not often required).">
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
