The Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team in Norway. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for procuring hotel and land services for a section of our contracted portfolio.
Your primary objective will be to develop, establish, and implement a company-wide procurement strategy for both hotel and land services, ensuring rate competitiveness and product innovation. You will maintain a competitive product portfolio and inventories by aligning Sales expectations with destination trends.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Procurement, Reservation, Accounting, Sales, and Operations, to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a market-leading procurement strategy for hotel and land services in Norway
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to consistently deliver competitive and suitable products to customers
- Monitor market trends and product innovation to reflect in product development
- Reach special/exclusive agreements with key suppliers and chains
- Identify and mitigate business risks
- Ensure compliance with financial, legislative, legal demands, and ethical standards
- Follow up operational and escalation issues
- Define and review team members' performance by coaching, setting goals, conducting regular one-to-ones
- Manage and develop talent/succession plans for the present and future needs of the business
- Act as a mentor and take responsibility for supporting staff in their career progression
- Be responsible for leading the recruitment process within your department

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in an international procurement, business development, account, or revenue management role, ideally in the hospitality or travel industry and already exposed to team management
Essential Qualifications:
- Higher education in a related field
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Proven ability to work effectively, drive a strategic plan, and build relationships at senior levels
- Strong delivery focus and a track record of implementing workable solutions
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between 700,000 and 900,000 NOK, depending on qualifications and experience.
