About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AML Compliance Officer to join our team at Hays Danmark. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' businesses are compliant with all relevant anti-money laundering regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement AML/CFT Strategies

Develop and implement effective AML/CFT strategies to mitigate financial crime risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Manage AML Department

Manage the AML department, providing leadership and guidance to team members to ensure that all AML/CFT tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Reporting and Risk Management

Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management and regulatory bodies, highlighting potential risks and concerns, and providing recommendations for mitigation.

Policy Development and Training

Develop and update AML/CFT policies and procedures, and provide training to employees on AML/CFT best practices and regulatory requirements.

Customer Onboarding and Due Diligence

Approve customer onboarding and conduct due diligence on high-risk customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Transaction Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report any potential financial crimes to regulatory bodies.

Investigations and Escalations

Investigate and escalate any potential financial crimes to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Stakeholder Engagement

Provide advice and guidance to business stakeholders on AML/CFT matters and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of their AML/CFT responsibilities.

Requirements
  1. Relevant Academic Qualifications

A relevant academic degree such as Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience and Skills

At least 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and best practices.

Language Skills

Fluent in Norwegian and English, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Technical Skills

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.

Personal Qualities

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a structured approach to work and a high level of integrity.
