Splunk, a Cisco company, is a leading provider of software solutions for IT infrastructure, security, and analytics. As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will be the primary technical sales resource for our Field Sales team in Norway, supporting strategic accounts across various industries.
The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in IT infrastructure, security tools, industry trends, methodologies, and best practices. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of each target client's business, operations, and industry trends, including their strategic business and technology goals. Additionally, you will need to understand how Splunk's solutions can provide capabilities and benefits to address the business needs of our clients.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical sales resource for the Field Sales team in Norway.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical staff at our customers' sites.
- Travel extensively to visit prospects and customers, and engage in onsite customer work when required.
- Collaborate with the sales team and SE management to develop and improve working practices, best practices, and presales processes.
