Mercury Marine is a global leader in the marine industry, committed to innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking an experienced Area Business Development Manager to join our team.
About the RoleThe Area Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our dealer network in a specific geographic region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets, including market analysis and competitor research
- Build and maintain relationships with key dealers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
- 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding dealer networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas simply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders
