Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Unit Reporting team in Ireland. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in providing financial reporting services to our subsidiaries in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post sales and purchase invoices in SAP in accordance with our Procure to Pay policy.
  • Reconcile purchase orders to invoices and flag any variations.
  • Coordinate with the Invoice to Pay team leads to ensure standardization of processes.
  • Allocate bank payments and receipts.
  • Control reconciliations for all key Balance sheet items.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of various tax and VAT forms.
  • Assist with statutory external Audits and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assist with month end reporting and analysis as required.
  • Additional or alternative tasks as required from time to time by the finance team.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting to third party clients.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SAP desired but not essential.
  • Ability to adapt to other new software and systems such as Sharepoint, Online Banking platforms, Internal control systems.
  • General Tax experience in the areas of CT, VAT, RCT, Employment taxes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, together with the ability to work on your own initiative and to meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
