Sales Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Associate to join our team at Intuitive Surgical. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in the field of minimally invasive care.
About the RoleThe Clinical Territory Associate will work closely with the Clinical Sales Manager to gain knowledge in all aspects of our business, including technical, clinical, and sales expertise. The successful candidate will train to be a da Vinci Surgery technical and sales expert across all primary surgical specialties, focusing on developing surgical robotics programs in the assigned territory.
This position requires high commitment, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about advancing the world of minimally invasive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and insight to the surgical team on the use of the da Vinci Surgical System.
- Lead technical in-services for customers, including OR staff, surgeons, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to Clinical Sales Manager team quarterly sales goals by influencing behavior change in customers through product demonstrations, in-services, OR selling activities, and customer support trainings.
- Support regional sales and marketing development events that create system awareness and procedure adoption.
- Manage administrative tasks, including reporting of sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, submission of expense reports, and assigned ISU online modules using company required software systems.
- Act as a Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany, providing guidance, insight, and support in the proper handling of Intuitive medical devices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year sales experience or 1 year leadership experience.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
- Ambition and strong work ethic.
- Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
