About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant- Accounts Payable India to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for driving process efficiency and change management, coordinating system improvements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive process efficiency and change management initiatives to improve financial operations
  • Coordinate system improvements and ensure seamless integration with stakeholders
  • Verify vendor bills and ensure compliance with PO/agreements
  • Manage office petty cash expenses and prepare petty cash sheets
  • Check and verify staff expense claims and ensure compliance with company policy
  • Account for financial transactions in SAP system and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain deposits/advances schedule and perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly MIS reporting data and assist in closing books
  • Coordinate with local vendors and bankers for payment-related issues
  • Assist Accounting Manager in preparing quarterly/ half-yearly/ yearly financials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP (FICO module, MM module)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
