Overview:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving growth within the maritime sector. Your role will involve establishing and nurturing strong client relationships while identifying new business avenues in the dynamic maritime landscape. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your sales acumen and leadership skills to make a significant impact in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director.
- Build a robust sales pipeline focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
- Manage the complete sales process in a consultative manner, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analyze market opportunities and devise a comprehensive plan for the designated area.
- Conduct consultative discovery sessions to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts on behalf of Lloyd's Register OneOcean.
- Maintain customer engagement through regular account meetings to identify further business opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track sales activities and ensure accurate account management.
- Stay informed about product developments and industry trends to effectively educate clients.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the SaaS domain.

- Skilled in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales through new business initiatives.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel globally as required.
- Strong negotiation skills with commercial awareness.
- Proficient in standard MS Office applications.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp and convey unique selling points and product differentiators.
