A Day in the Life of a Technical Development Specialist
  1. Selling our innovative Structural Heart products to major hospitals across Norway, focusing on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves.
  2. Providing clinical and technical support in the cath lab through education and assistance to doctors and nurses.
  3. Building strong business relationships with customers to ensure product usage and market share growth, leveraging economic selling and commercial offer development.
  4. Identifying and mapping key decision-makers and influencers, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, department heads, purchasers, etc.
  5. Preparing tender specifications to align pricing and product positioning with requirements and strategy.
  6. Collaborating with Market Development Managers to identify and facilitate market development opportunities and encourage project collaborations.
  7. Working effectively within the team and matrix organization to leverage skills and inputs throughout the business.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
  2. Experience in sales (Medical Device and Tender Management).
  3. Fluency in Norwegian and English, along with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to learn and comprehend complex medical and scientific information.
  5. Capacity to spot business opportunities, mature leads, and influence others.
  6. Capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and matrix organization.
  7. Clean Driver's license.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  1. Experience in the Structural Heart field.
  2. Interventional/cath lab experience.
  3. Support case experience.
  4. Thorough understanding of the Norwegian healthcare system.
  5. Experience with Salesforce.com.
