About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing analytics capabilities within Consumer Goods across diverse European markets. The primary objective is to drive the NRM analytics roadmap for Consumer Goods EMEA, significantly improving tools, processes, and insights that fuel our data-driven NRM transformation agenda.

Reporting directly to the Net Revenue Management Lead for Consumer Goods EMEA, this individual will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, including Regional Net Revenue Managers, Business Development Managers, external agencies, and Regional Customer Marketing Directors, to lead our NRM analytics journey.

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate must possess confidence in building analytical solutions using commonly used software, a strong understanding of the connections between data and real business challenges, and a proven ability to see complex tasks through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the NRM analytics roadmap, prioritizing opportunities for upscaled analytics, securing necessary resources, and driving timely delivery while celebrating progress.
  • Create new analytical solutions independently and in collaboration with internal and external experts, staying at the forefront of best-in-class data and analytics for NRM.
  • Drive new solutions into Essity's way of working in partnership with the NRM Excellence Manager.
  • Promote Essity's NRM analytical solutions among regional teams, ensuring seamless adoption through publicizing, training, piloting, supporting, and problem-solving.
  • Define value-adding trends and performance measurement reports for senior management and other stakeholders, implementing, maintaining, and leveraging recommended reporting.
  • Translate data into actionable insight through project work, reporting, and the annual business planning cycle.
  • Maintain benchmarking and up-skilling to stay current on industry developments, bringing external expertise into Essity's way of working and securing approval for new investments.
  • Contribute to Essity's NRM community as a connected and contributory part.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in FMCG within analytical, financial, or commercial roles.
  • Direct experience in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Net Revenue Management (NRM), Commercial Strategy, or Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P) is beneficial.
  • Exceptional Excel skills; Power BI and Tableau experience is advantageous. SQL, Python, or similar competency is not required.
  • Proven experience in building analytical solutions, such as landscape assessments and predictive financial models.
  • Strong understanding of key NRM concepts, including Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture (PPA), Mix Management, Promotion Strategy, and Trade Investment.
  • Confident grasp of NRM analytical principles, such as elasticity, return on investment, and profit pools.
  • Ability to convert data into actionable insight, synthesizing large, diverse, and complex data sources into simple, easy-to-understand descriptions, predictions, and recommendations.
  • Experience working with insight agencies like NIQ and Buynomics, and comfort with econometric and AI-modelling techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a structured ability to manage projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excitement to pioneer new solutions within Essity, driven to deliver organizational behavioral change through the adoption of new tools and processes among regional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills, seeking and responding to feedback, prepared to work collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
