About the Role

In this role, you will engage in various accounting activities and provide professional consultative and advisory accounting services to the organization. You will ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, manage the organization's financial resources, and adhere to all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.

What You Will Do

  1. Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate General ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
  2. Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports, statistical reports and accounting statements.
  3. Perform VAT compliance checks and assist with VAT return preparation.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate responses to external and internal auditors.
  5. Support payroll and HR functions, book payroll files, and provide tax-related values for payroll input.
  6. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GBS quality standards, Essity policies and guidelines such as MICR, as well as legal and statutory regulations.
  7. Maintain the interface with the Business Unit Controlling network and business contacts.
  8. Act as an advisory partner for Accounting services, providing technical accounting advice within the area of expertise to functional or operational managers and colleagues in the finance area.
  9. Resolve escalated issues and escalate potential challenges or questions to the next level regarding necessary changes, inefficiencies, or other possible issues.
  10. Contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions within a matrix organization.

Kvalifikasjoner /egenskaper:

  1. Universitetsutdannelse innen finans, regnskap.
  2. Tre til fire års erfaring innen regnskap, gjerne fra et internasjonalt selskap.
  3. God på analyse og problemløsning.
  4. Strukturert, kommunikasjons-sterk og jobber godt i samspill med andre.
  5. Selvstendig: Må kunne styre egen hverdag og egne mål.
  6. Skriver og snakker både norsk og engelsk.
  7. Kan tåle og etterleve korte tidsfrister og holde søkelys på detaljer.
  8. Digital styrke, gjerne i SAP S/4HANA.
