We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Product Manager to join our team. This is your opportunity to work for a leading company where you enable sustainable healthcare and make a difference to society every day.

As a Product Manager, you set the assortment priorities for your team, and you visit the customers to drive them towards our preferred assortment.

You set these priorities by looking at gross profit contribution and strategic fit. You are supported in this by the key account manager and the group category managers.

You understand the market and the products you are responsible for and are able to define opportunities for sales and margin growth.

What are you going to do?

  • Ensure the product conversion priorities are clear and implemented in the team
  • Support the budget process in defining sales initiatives related to your category
  • Review the monthly progress and develop corrective actions
  • Ensure the right products are positioned in tenders, with the support of group and back-office resources
  • Know what tenders are upcoming and where the sales team should focus their pre-tender efforts
  • Make the right sales pitch and marketing collateral to be effective in pre-tender efforts
  • Visit product or target groups of related local trade fairs and congresses as a representative of Mediq
  • Ensure there is a clear roadmap of product & category promotions across channels (sales, online, paper)
  • Ensure the right content is provided for online promotion
  • Run online & live information sessions and training for your customers
  • Account & visit planning based on opportunities from product conversions
  • Visit key decision makers and key opinion leaders on your product range, to promote our preferred portfolio
  • Guide customers to use new products and identify new business opportunities among existing customers
  • Customer visits according to targets and should account for 50% of time spent

What is your background?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a related field
  • Experience working in Medtech, Pharma or Nursing is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market trends into actionable product plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue and market share goals
  • Team player
  • Proven experience in product management within the medical or healthcare industry, with a focus on wholesale distribution
  • In-depth knowledge of medical product regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Your background includes significant experience with medical products within this category
  • Experience of product positioning in tenders
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbally and in writing
