Oslo-based Zivid designs and sells advanced 3D cameras to the global robotics market, providing "eyes" for industrial robots. The Inside Sales Specialist will play an important role in Zivid's continued growth.

We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, resourceful, and customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist to become part of the Zivid-family to help us achieve great success with new and existing customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Inside Sales Specialist in Zivid your key responsibility is to drive acquisition of new customers by managing the sales process of inbound inquiries until we secure the first purchase order. Key activities and responsibilities include:

  1. Lead the overall process of assigned incoming quote requests from A to Z.
  2. Work closely with the engineers in Customer Success Unit (CSU) for the technical sales process.
  3. Own the commercial sales process including commercial negotiations.
  4. Gradually build and grow some repeat customers into your own set of accounts.
  5. Building strong personal relations with customers, primarily through digital communication (mail, web meetings and calls).
  6. Collaborate with Marketing to improve our reach and attraction towards the right set of customers.
  7. Relay customer feedback and market intel to relevant functions in Zivid.
  8. Participate in quarterly forecast and result presentations.
  9. Actively contribute to the success of the EMEA- and Global Sales Team.
  10. Diligently use and take advantage of our CRM tool (HubSpot).
  11. Expected traveling (Europe): ~5%.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone who wants to build or grow a commercial career selling world-leading technologies towards a global market. Your background and personal qualities include several of:

  1. 0 – 3 years of experience in commercial roles like sales-, bid-, account- or project manager, preferably working with advanced technologies towards international customers.
  2. New graduates (incl. class of 2025) are encouraged to apply.
  3. B.Sc or M.Sc in communication, economy/finance, engineering, law or marketing. Relevant experience (e.g. from robotics or machine vision) can compensate for shorter educational background.
  4. Personal interest in advanced technologies combined with commercial understanding and a genuine desire to help our customers succeed are personal qualities that will help you in the role.
  5. Strong ability to communicate with- and influence technical- and commercial decision-makers.
  6. Strong ability to quickly build trust and personal relationships through digital communication.
  7. Structure and attention to detail are valuable qualities in dealing with our customers.
  8. Fluency in English is an absolute requirement, with mastering of Chinese, German, Korean or Japanese being an added advantage.
