Your mission

In Mercell, the role of a Launch Manager is pivotal in orchestrating the seamless introduction of new products and releases. The focus of the Launch Manager is to make sure everyone in the Customer Office is ready and prepared when a new product or upgrade is launched. This dynamic position involves a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs, effective risk assessment, and ownership of the entire launch process from the Customer Office perspective. The Launch Manager acts as the linchpin between various departments, ensuring that requirements are met, information flows seamlessly, and all teams and tools are ready to handle the introduction of a new product, within the timeframe that is set.

With a focus on clear communication, strategic collaboration, meticulous planning, and driving towards the end result, the Launch Manager is the driving force behind successful launches, fostering a positive experience for both internal teams and customers. This role embodies a holistic approach, guaranteeing that every aspect of the launch is executed timely with precision, from initial planning to post-launch evaluation.

Core Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Launch Ownership: Lead the entire launch process from strategic planning through execution and post-launch evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of coordination across departments including development, marketing, sales, customer success, and support, facilitating clear communication and alignment on requirements, readiness, and timelines.
  • Requirements & Readiness Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and fulfill launch requirements—ensuring readiness of tools, teams, marketing assets, documentation, and support resources.
  • Risk Management & Communication Strategy: Proactively identify and mitigate launch-related risks, and lead internal and external communication strategies in partnership with marketing to ensure transparency and preparedness.
  • Training, Documentation & Performance Evaluation: Oversee the creation of comprehensive training materials and user documentation, ensure team enablement, and define KPIs to assess launch success through internal and client feedback.
Required Qualifications

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Strong risk management skills, with the ability to see the big picture and identify key people and actions needed for a successful launch.
  • Experience in data mapping and data analysis, including knowledge of data governance practices.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
