Sales Account Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Team at TransGroup Global Logistics. As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in connecting with both internal teams and external customers and suppliers, bringing in new clients while also taking care of and growing our existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively generate qualified leads and generate your own meetings with new and exciting customers.
- Calculate and submit freight quotations and follow up accordingly.
- Achieve agreed or given targets/deadlines as directed by management.
- Stay informed about marketplace activities and report any trends or developments.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience from a similar job in the logistics industry.
- Result-oriented, hardworking, self-starter with a good understanding of the logistics industry and strong closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and administration skills with accurate pipeline forecasting.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the business, with good persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Excellent processing and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in both Norwegian and English.
