About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales and Key Account Manager to join our Markets team at Euronext. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth across our assigned portfolio of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, at all relevant organizational levels.
  • Proactive Sales and Onboarding: Proactively seek new business sales and support customers through the onboarding process.
  • Cross-Selling and Revenue Growth: Cross-sell Nord Pool products & services (across all regions) to assigned portfolio of customers to increase revenue from the assigned accounts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Responsible for stakeholder management including branch organizations, authorities, government, regulators, Independent System Vendors (ISVs) and other groups as relevant for the markets of responsibility.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Responsible for customer satisfaction of the assigned accounts.
  • Communication and Follow-Up: Pro-active communication and follow up on customer needs towards the Nord Pool organization.
  • Account Planning and Management: Where the assigned portfolio includes customers flagged as Strategic Accounts, responsibility for account planning and plan follow up to ensure specific account targets are achieved.
  • Record Keeping and CRM: Maintain updated records on existing and potential customers within area of responsibility at all times. Actively use and be responsible for updating information into Nord Pool CRM system, including minutes from customer meetings.
  • Market Knowledge and Community Engagement: Establish an active role in the energy communities within the markets of responsibility - be up to date on market topics and competitors, and share this knowledge within the Nord Pool organization.
  • Collaboration and Process Improvement: Cooperate with internal departments to help streamline business processes.
  • Presentation and Event Participation: Give presentations and lectures, and play an active role in events and educational programmes or seminars which are significant for potential or existing Nord Pool customers.
  • Team Contribution and Strategy: Contribute to joint goals as a key member of the Markets team, and develop plans for agreed activities.
  • Industry Representation and Innovation: Represent the markets team in the product development & innovation idea to launch processes (where applicable).
  • Industry Workgroups and Market Design: Participate in industry workgroups related to key market design topics for the Nordic & Baltic region - ensuring the Nord Pool organization is up to date on upcoming industry changes and feeding business development opportunities into strategy planning.

  • Energy Industry Knowledge: Coming from a similar role within the energy industry with a good understanding of the European power markets.
  • Travel Requirements: Some travel may be expected.
  • Personal Qualities: Innovative, energetic, driven.
