Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with a customer-centric approach to join our expanding international organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.
The successful individual will be part of a dynamic team that fosters collaboration and innovation, driving success in the logistics sector.
About You
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in software sales, preferably within the logistics or e-commerce sector. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build lasting relationships with clients, from initial contact to successful deal closure.
Overall Responsibility
We're looking for a Sales Executive to lead our Norwegian customer management team, focusing on upgrading existing clients with our latest products and services. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about working in sales.
The Sales Executive's primary objective is to create new revenue streams by selling to new customers and increasing the usage of nShift's products among our current client base.
You will be joining nShift at an exciting time, as we undergo a transformation following the merger of five industry leaders, solidifying our position as a true market leader.
The Key Responsibilities Include:
- Presenting our solution to potential clients.
- Identifying client needs and suggesting suitable products/services from our portfolio.
- Building trusting relationships with prospects, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Reporting to the Director of Sales on results and improvement ideas.
- Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven commercial acumen and business development skills to grow revenue through both inbound and outbound opportunities.
- Experience in presenting to, negotiating with, and closing deals at the C-level.
- Strong relationship management and networking abilities across different organizational levels.
- Ability to accurately forecast revenue based on current business opportunities.
- Energetic and proactive approach.
- Independence and ability to work effectively within a team.
- University degree or any relevant sales qualifications will be advantageous.
- Experience in selling within the logistics/ carrier/WMS/OMS/TMS/3PL/e-commerce software industry would be beneficial.
- Flexible mindset and can-do attitude: Willingness to adapt to customer and organizational needs.
- A track record of achieving quotas and KPIs.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Mandatory fluency in English and Norwegian written, reading, and spoken.
- Demonstrated high activity levels of outreach and prospecting.
