Accountant Leader - OsloJob Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant Leader to drive financial results across the business.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Oversight: Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Month-End Activities: Perform and coordinate month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries, providing key insights into financial performance.
  • Closing Activities: Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures (ESOX, GAP assessment) to maintain a strong control environment.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: An individual with a financial, accounting, business, or economics degree.
  • Senior Accounting Experience: Someone with hands-on experience within a senior accounting position.
  • Global Organisation Experience: Experience working within a global organisation would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Systems Knowledge: Strong systems knowledge, ideally with ERP, JDE/Oracle, SAP, or HFM.
  • Communication Skills: Solid communication skills, both verbally and written.
