Community Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Manager to join our team at H5P Group AS. As a Community Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the success and sustainability of our H5P project by engaging, supporting, and empowering our user base, contributors, and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for community members, addressing their inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
  • Establish partnerships and collaborations with educational institutions and other relevant organizations.
  • Organize and host community events, webinars, and conferences to facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing.
  • Foster a vibrant and inclusive online and offline community environment.
  • Participate in the H5P management team to represent the community's interests.

Content Creation:


  • Develop and curate engaging content, such as blog posts, tutorials, and documentation, to facilitate user onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base to empower users to find solutions independently.

Community Growth:


  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the user base, contributors, and relevant partners.
  • Continuously improve the processes for joining the H5P community.

Feedback Management:


  • Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product development and improvement.
  • Use feedback to continuously improve the experience for H5P community members.

Metrics and Reporting:


  • Monitor and report on community engagement metrics, growth, and user satisfaction.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine community strategies and goals.

About the Job:

This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have prior experience managing or moderating online communities, user forums, or social media groups. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Education or other relevant degree is preferred.
