About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineering Manager to join our team at AvantGarde Search AS. As a Technical Sales Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions for customers at a global reach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Solutions:
    1. Capture customer requirements via written specifications, RFPs, and meetings.
    2. Collaborate with teams to prepare compliant solutions with accurate documentation for sales proposals.
    3. Produce or amend customer layouts or simple schematic drawings for sales proposals.
    4. Support internal teams in preparing quotes and solutions for customer fit-out or upgrades.
    5. Present solutions to customers with the Sales team.
    6. Manage the handover of relevant documentation pre- or post-sales contracts.
  2. Bulk Solutions:
    1. Collaborate with Bulk DC's technical team to develop sales enablement packs for all Data Centers, including design concepts, growth plans, performance specs, and build-out methodology.
    2. Maintain RFP documentation for standard responses, supporting sales with technical elements, certification, and best practices validation.
    3. Provide customer-focused input for new designs and solutions to meet market needs quickly.
    4. Develop preferred fit-out supplier and product solutions, including service descriptions and pricing to meet Bulk operational standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical engineering, Electronics engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technical sales, or related, experience.
  • Technical drawing experience (CAD).
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft's products, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of technical requests.
  • Data Center experience is preferred.
  • Fluency in English - Scandinavian is a plus.
