Sales and Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in South Norway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships with opticians, regional department stores, and independent customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in field sales roles, preferably in the eyewear industry. You will be responsible for evaluating new customer positioning and suitability for launch of new brands/collections, maintaining brand integrity through product presentation, and conducting brand presentations and sell-in of new collections.

Main Objectives

  • Evaluate new customers' suitability for launch of new brands/collections
  • Maintain brand integrity through product presentation
  • Conduct brand presentations and sell-in of new collections
  • Research and target new customers
  • Manage stock levels in assigned territory
  • Implement trade marketing activities to maximize customers' sell-out
  • Collect sell-out reports from customers
  • Manage orders in cooperation with customer services
  • Optimize brand presence in store
  • Ensure highest possible customer service
  • Build strong external and internal relationships

Requirements

  • More than 2 years of experience in field sales roles
  • Experience in fashion/accessories/lifestyle/cosmetics or high-end consumer goods
  • Field-based role requiring up to 80% travel
  • Full clean driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sales-driven mindset with ability to expand business
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent organization skills
