Job Summary

We are seeking a Meeting & Event Coordinator to join our team at Clarion Hotel The Hub. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for planning and executing large events and conferences, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage large events and conferences, ensuring timely execution and high-quality service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and PCO's to ensure successful event execution.
  • Ensure all event details are accurately communicated to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  • Manage event bookings, ensuring accurate segment, client information, agreements, and pricing.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to clients.
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant experience in conference planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in event booking systems (an advantage).
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English (written and spoken).
