Job Description

Role Summary:

The Vice President of Employee Benefits will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive benefits programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent. This executive leader will collaborate with senior management to align benefits strategies with our business goals, ensuring that our offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and meet the diverse needs of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the strategic vision for employee benefits, aligning with the company's overall mission and objectives.
  • Program Design: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all employee benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and stay abreast of changes in legislation that impact benefits administration.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to educate and engage employees about their benefits, fostering a culture of wellness and financial security.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and make informed decisions to optimize offerings.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing benefits team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to employees and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Desired Formal Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
