Offshore Wind Business Development in Oslo is looking to strengthen the team with a new Senior Business Development Manager. You will play an important role in the pursuit and capture stages of the business, helping Aibel expand its offshore wind business.

About The Position

As a Senior Business Development Manager in Aibel, you will be at the forefront of the Offshore Wind market In this position, you'll drive new business opportunities and build strong client relationships. Explore new opportunities, follow up pursuits, and contribute to sales projections and financial forecasts. Join our dynamic team to position Aibel for success in winning new Offshore Wind projects

Responsibilities And Tasks Include
  1. Identify emerging prospects: responsible for project pursuits, capture strategies, strategy input, market intelligence & analysis
  2. Client management: establish and maintain contact with existing and new clients, build relationships
  3. Develop growth strategies: follow up leads and explore new opportunities within offshore wind market
  4. Lead negotiation: Negotiating and closing business deals that promote sustained profit margins
  5. Market Analysis: conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor, preferably Masters, in business, marketing, finance or a technical field
  2. Relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education EPC and/or industry experience
  3. Experience with international clients as well as Norwegian
  4. Relevant experience in a similar role, e.g. commercial/business management, project execution and/ or study management experience
  5. Experience in sales, marketing, tenders or related field

  1. Strong business understanding and a commercial mindset
  2. Structured, systematic and responsible
  3. Ability to clearly convey ideas, build relationships, and establish trust across all levels
  4. Team player with the ability to motivate, inspire, and coordinate colleagues effectively
  5. Able to see the big picture while solving problems quickly and hands-on
  6. Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably also in Norwegian
