
Commercial Lead

The Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for the effective management of large-scale EPC contracts, ensuring contractual compliance, risk mitigation, and commercial performance.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in contract administration, claims and variations management, and dispute resolution within the EPC or construction industry. You will oversee contract execution, manage relationships with subcontractors, and work closely with legal, commercial, and project teams to ensure project success.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Manage EPC contracts from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contractual requirements.
- Administer change orders and variation claims, negotiating pricing and schedule impacts with subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual KPIs and milestones, ensuring cost control and budget adherence.
- Represent the company in meetings with EPC subcontractors, upholding contractual interests.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related field.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., MRICS, FIDIC, NEC, PMP, or LLM in Construction Law) is advantageous.
- 7+ years of experience in contract management within the EPC or construction industry.
- Strong background in managing large-scale EPC contracts, particularly with international subcontractors.
- Experience with FIDIC, NEC, or other standard contract forms is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in handling claims, variations, and disputes.
