Nordic Power Markets Specialist

We require individuals of excellent caliber who are willing to take up the challenge to develop the EEX's position in the trading of Nordic Power contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Developing the EEX Nordic power segment.
  • Growing the size of the Nordic power market.
  • Account management for Nordic clients.
  • Development of new key accounts.
  • Cross-selling of EEX products to trading members.
  • Management of on-boarding process (admission) of new trading members.
  • Professional participation in projects regarding market and product development.
Requirements
  • The drive to take ownership and develop a market.
  • Skilled knowledge of energy commodity trading.
  • Excellent contacts in the power trading community, especially in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
  • Proven professional experience, ideally in the environment of an exchange, broker, clearing house, bank, commodity trading house, utility trading desk or origination.
  • Ideally, a background with a history of developing exchange-traded products.
  • Perfect command of written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in other European languages.
  • The ability to work independently to deadlines.
  • Target-driven.
  • A great motivator with excellent negotiation skills.
  • A good character who can positively contribute to a good team spirit.
  • Accountability for decisions taken.
