About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Services Duty Supervisor to join our Ground Services team at Oslo. The successful candidate will supervise their team to deliver exceptional customer service to our passengers, maintaining the award-winning 5-star service Qatar Airways is known for.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Coordinate ramp handling activities with airport staff.
  2. Lead the airport team to achieve on-time flight closures.
  3. Develop and implement efficient duty allocations for Customer Service Agents.
  4. Support the Airport Services Manager in managing flight disruptions and other passenger-related issues.
  5. Lead by example, demonstrating excellent team building skills and directing staff.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  7. Train and manage the ticketing team.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in an airline or reputable Ground Handling Operations at a supervisory level.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Understanding of international aviation regulations and safety procedures.
  • Experience in Passenger Services, Baggage Services, Ground Operations, and ramp handling.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Excellent customer service focus and delivery.
