About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our team at Robert Prizelius AS. As our new sales manager, you will be responsible for selling some of the world's most well-known spirits portfolios to the hospitality industry.

Robert Prizelius AS is a Norwegian import company specializing in wine and spirits sales, owned by the Danish family-owned company Hans Just Group with 300 employees across Scandinavia. We take large market shares in a competitive industry and are looking for the greatest talents in sales and knowledge communication of our products to the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Use your sales skills, product knowledge and commercial understanding to increase the number of listings in your district and write contracts that are profitable for our customers, our company and our product suppliers.
  • Work analytically and strategically with data collection and use of data basis to measure the effect of measures.
  • Understand customer needs and be their consultant to drive higher rotation for them with our products.
  • Establish contact with a large network of retailers where traveling by car and plane to several Norwegian cities and towns is a natural part of the job.
  • Implement and carry out actions in HoReCa (hospitality industry) to capture market share, which can include fairs, tastings, promotional sales etc.
  • Build a strong network and relationships with our wholesalers, chains and HoReCa customers.
  • Build and execute events and activity programs aimed at a specific customer group in line with marketing plans.
  • Be operational, know the target group, customers and brands.
Minimum requirements
  1. Relevant work experience from similar sales work, preferably with wine & spirits or other relevant sales experience.
  2. A sales education that has taught you a strategic approach to sales situations, analysis of the customer, use of numbers and digital tools to facilitate and optimize sales meetings.
  3. Be flexible in terms of working hours and travel. Unusual working hours and shift work must be expected. Must have a valid class B driver's license or be willing to acquire this.
  4. Strong language and communication skills (written and oral) in Norwegian and English. Experience or comfortable use of English as a working language is an advantage as the industry is multinational.
  5. You are energetic and enjoy working in a social work environment.
  6. You like challenges and solve them structured and efficiently in a tight team.
  7. You take responsibility, are structured and have implementation ability.
  8. You love to develop yourself and see new areas of responsibility as an opportunity to learn something new.
