Job Title: Business Development Manager

DNV Inspection Northern Europe is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive sales and business growth in the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to meet the increasing demand for our inspection and QA/QC services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to identify business opportunities and close deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives that support the sales strategy.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a sales funnel to track and manage sales leads and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and use the DNV Inspection organization to drive sales growth.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and bids to secure new business.
  • Participate in regional market communication efforts to promote the company's services and build brand awareness.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of successful experience in commercial work or sales B2B from relevant companies.
  • BSc degree in a technical discipline preferred, but long hands-on experience may compensate.
  • Solid technical insight and strong ability to understand client concerns and challenges.
  • Experience from international work and cross-border transactions.
  • Successful track-record from reputable companies within the energy industry space.
  • Strong business orientation, efficient, autonomous, and accountable, with an entrepreneurial and market development mindset.
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, resilient, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship capabilities, with ability to work both alone and in a team setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with mother tongue Norwegian and fluent English required.
