The role of Culinary Services Supervisor is integral to our Experience Services Platform, overseeing food service programs within a defined client portfolio. This position is responsible for the comprehensive management of food service operations, including micro markets, conference facilities, catering, and beverage services. The Culinary Services Supervisor will ensure that all services not only meet but exceed client expectations, providing outstanding client service while enhancing their own professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage food service operations at designated locations, including oversight of third-party service providers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all food service-related inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a robust food service management program, ensuring adequate staffing in line with client needs.
  • Coordinate catering and hospitality services for client events and business functions.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations regarding food transport, handling, preparation, and service.
  • Collaborate with vendors to design and implement a culinary nutrition and wellness program, including events and educational initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance related to food service programs, providing strategic recommendations to meet budgetary goals.
  • Proactively address client needs and concerns, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Act as the point of contact for client escalations regarding service issues.
  • Design and implement procedures to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Foster strong client relationships to ensure service level expectations are met.
  • Adhere to all contractual obligations and strive to exceed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service at all interaction points.
  • Ensure operational requirements are met according to client specifications.
  • Develop and implement effective operational procedures and performance metrics.
  • Drive client-specific initiatives, including technology implementations and best practices.
  • Ensure financial processes and controls are consistently followed for effective management.
  • Comply with JLL and client health, safety, and risk management policies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to scale food service operations across various levels.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in food service or hospitality management.
  • Proficient communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Strong vendor management and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on contract management and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
